A Rare Moment Captured

Through the valleys and mountains lies a beast that can not be tamed. A beast so frightening, that many quiver at the thought. The creature never rests, never stops moving, and seldom ceases to eat. It is a TYS. The TYS is a rare being. Even more rare, is the opportunity to see the TYS being still. I caught this unbelievably exciting moment on camera. Behold!!! TYS IS STILL!!!!

MUMZEY

I just got the coolest diaper bag ever!!! (Thanks Mom and Grandpa!!!) A friend of ours just started this amazing company with her mom, MUMZEY. They make diaper bags and hand bags for "mom's on the go!" SO GREAT!!! I got to choose the style of my bag, my fabrics and many extras. They did a great job and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a fun new bag. I was seriously toting this bag around the house all night. A MUST for a MOM!

LOGAN or BUST!!!

A couple of weeks ago, Stacey, myself and five small children, loaded into my fancy new mini, and headed for Logan. Now, I don't get out much, except when we have to. Jason does the grocery shopping and most errands. I do doctor visits and church. I just don't care to drive. BUT, I did drive to Logan. (Stacey drove home.) I was very proud, and I would probably do it again, on my own, if I ever own a cell phone. It was a great day. We just enjoyed the company of my Uncle Bob, Aunt Dee, cousins Corynn, Cristin, Ryan, their spouses, and Corynn's little one, Clayton. My kids had a blast in their awesome Noah's Ark inspired toy room, FENCED backyard, and on their Diner-style table. It was a wonderful day. Thanks to Uncle Bob and Aunt DeeAnn for the good food, good company, and the sharing of all of their toys. It was a much needed day trip, for the Davis crew.
p.s. THANKS FOR ALL OF THE HELP!!! SLH, DM, CF, JF, and especially RM.

Kirby's Dance Recital

Saturday, Kirby showed off her moves at her Spring Dance Recital at Riverton High School. She was beautiful. I forgot to pack her ballet shoes and remembered on the way there, and so Jason dropped Kirby and I off and took the other three kids home to retrieve the shoes. I was praying that Kirby's Cheerleading squad would perform first, before her ballet class. It was not to be. Not only was her ballet class performing before her Cheer Squad, her Ballet class was FIRST on the ENTIRE PROGRAM!!! I got her all ready, and had her stand shoeless with her class. I ran to the outside of the school and prayed that Jason would show up on time. He did, with only seconds to spare and I ran yet again through the school like a wild woman. My daughter was very excited to have her shoes. (For those who know Kirby personally, little things out of whack throw her out of whack, so it was a test for mom to stay calm, so as to teach her to stay calm. ;)) I digress. So, I was seated just in time. To add to the time crunch and pressure, her Cheer Squad performed only 2 acts after her Ballet class, so Kirby's maniac mom got to run around the school, yet again, and change her very quickly into her Cheer Uniform. WE DID IT!!! She was AWESOME!!!

Fallon Reese's Blessing

Today our sweet Fallon was blessed by her Daddy. President Reuben Clark and his wife Carol were here, my little sister, Stacey and her husband Jeff were here, along with little Jacob, Ashley and Ben Guercio, along with Ethan, Liddy, and Grant, Steve and Sarah Smith, Cassia, Tammy and Dave Fischer, Katie, Kyle, and Dave's little nephew. It was wonderful to have so many friends here to share our special day with our little Fally Girl. Thanks to my dear friend, Chrystal Bracken for coming over to take family shots!

I was reminded how precious this life is, as my fourth angel was given a name. She received many wonderful blessings, and I look forward to a life of fulfillment for her. I was also reminded of how very blessed I am to have the Priesthood in my home. What a wonderful thing! I am so grateful for a husband that is worthy to perform these sacred ordinances.

My life is filled with so many wonderful blessings, and I am ever-thankful to a loving Father in Heaven who has provided me with them.

Best Dad Ever, Best Dish Ever

Jason makes the most outrageous corn off-the-cob. It is basically fried in butter with some secret spices. Yes, your arteries will clog, but whoa, is it worth it!!! Thanks to the chefs in training, for their delectable dish!
